
On February 28, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a delegation from the Russian Federation led by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, reports the presidential press service.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Russian guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the construction industry and territorial development, following the agreements reached during the state visit of the Russian President to Uzbekistan in May 2024.
Special attention was given to strengthening large-scale cooperation in the construction sector, particularly in the design and construction of infrastructure facilities, as well as the supply of building materials and equipment within socio-economic development programs.
Another key aspect of the discussion was enhancing the exchange of experience in shared construction, project design, expertise, digitalization, and public procurement processes.
