Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Paris on a state visit

Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Paris on a state visit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The presidential press service reported this.

The leader of Uzbekistan was met in front of the plane by the French Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Elisabeth Born, the Commander of the Paris Military District General Loic Mizon and other officials.

At Orly International Airport, the state flags of the two countries were raised in honor of the high-ranking guest, and a guard of honor lined up.

A group of compatriots studying, working and conducting scientific research in France welcomed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with great joy in front of the residence where the Uzbek delegation is located. The Head of State had a cordial conversation with them, wished them success in their studies and research.

In accordance with the program, high-level Uzbek-French negotiations will be held at the Elysee Palace.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also meet with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and hold a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading French companies and banks.
