International paragliding festival to be held in Samarkand

On May 10–11, the skies over Andak mahalla in the Urgut district of Samarkand region will be filled with paragliders as an international paragliding festival takes place, reports Kursiv Media.

The event will bring together around 70 athletes from ten countries. The festival program includes paragliding competitions, an air show, a gastronomic exhibition, and live musical performances.

The festival aims to promote tourism in the Urgut district and attract enthusiasts of extreme sports to Uzbekistan.
