Uzbekistan has entered the ranking of the cheapest countries in the world!
Numbeo, a portal that provides comprehensive information about cities and countries around the world, has published a global living standard ranking for 2025. This ranking reflects how expensive it is to live in 139 countries around the world, and Uzbekistan is among the cheapest countries on this list.

When compiling the ranking, experts analyzed the prices of products and services necessary for everyday life in different countries. In particular, factors such as rent, utilities, transportation costs, restaurant and food prices, and the purchasing power of the population were taken into account. The cost of living in each country was assessed in comparison with the standard of living in New York City.

According to the results of the rating, Uzbekistan scored 24.2 points, taking 127th place out of 139 countries and being included in the list of the cheapest countries in the world to live. This means that the cost of living for the population of Uzbekistan is significantly lower than in other countries.

Neighboring countries also took their places in this ranking. For example, Russia is ranked 132nd among countries with a low cost of living, while Belarus is 123rd, Kyrgyzstan is 121st, Kazakhstan is 114th, and Armenia is 63rd. However, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were not included in this ranking for various reasons.

The ranking lists the US Virgin Islands, Switzerland, Iceland, the Bahamas, and Singapore as the most expensive countries to live in, while Afghanistan, India, Egypt, Libya, and Pakistan are the cheapest.

The results of this ranking confirm that living in Uzbekistan is cheap, and living conditions in the country can further increase the country's ability to attract foreign tourists and investors. At the same time, it is recognized that it is important to continue efforts to increase the incomes and purchasing power of the population.

International rankings have always been one of the most important indicators of the well-being of the population and the development of the state. The results of this ranking once again demonstrate Uzbekistan's international standing in this regard.
