Military service fees have been increased again in Uzbekistan - what is the new amount?
In connection with the increase in the minimum wage in Uzbekistan, the amount of payment for one month of military service (mobilization reserve) is also increasing. Starting from August 1, 2025, this amount will be increased by another 10 percent and will amount to 1 million 271 thousand soums.

According to the legislation of Uzbekistan, the monthly military service fee is set at 7 times the minimum wage. Thus, starting from August of this year, the military service fee will increase from 8 million 85 thousand soums to 8 million 897 thousand soums. This is one of the important measures being taken to improve the material support of military personnel.

This system was introduced in our country in 2019, and to this day the minimum wage has been steadily increasing. As a result, the military service fee is also growing in line with this dynamics.

The changes in the amount of military service fees in recent years are as follows:

- In 2019, this figure amounted to 4 million 40 thousand soums;
- In 2020, it increased to 4 million 755 thousand soums;
- In 2021, it increased to 5 million 754 thousand soums;
- In 2022, this amount increased to 6 million 440 thousand soums;
- In 2023, it amounted to 6 million 860 thousand soums;
- In 2024, the amount was set at 8 million 85 thousand soums.

Monthly military service fees are spent to strengthen the material and technical base of the country's defense sector, improve the social protection of military personnel, and create favorable conditions for young people serving in the mobilization reserve.

Citizens can be accepted into the military reserve up to the age of 27. They participate in monthly military training and can be called up for military service in case of emergency or armed aggression against the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Military service fees can be paid in one go or in installments over the course of a year. These funds are accumulated in a special account of the Ministry of Defense, where they are spent on ensuring the benefits of conscripts, improving the social conditions of conscripts, and for the military-technical needs of the ministry.

The newly established increase in military service fees is significant as a step towards further strengthening the country's defense system and providing financial support to young people who are called up for military service. At the same time, this measure will serve to strengthen the country's defense potential and further enhance the prestige of the military sector.
