Shawkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kashkadarya region

Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kashkadarya region on June 19 to get acquainted with the development of the regions and the effectiveness of reforms.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state began his visit with a visit to the Alp Techno Service electrical engineering enterprise in the city of Karshi. It was noted that a technological "leap" is being observed throughout the republic. In particular, in the first five months of 2025, industry grew by 6.4 percent, and exports in this sector exceeded $6 billion. Kashkadarya industry has a large share in this. Alp Techno Service in the city of Karshi is one of such exporting enterprises.

This project, worth $10 million, has found its place in the global supply chain in the field of electrical engineering. The enterprise is preparing orders for foreign brands TSL, Hoffmann. It has also created the local Smart brand. Under these names, up to 500 thousand TVs and electronic boards are produced annually.

The products are highly technological, their quality and design meet market demands. Therefore, 70 percent of the goods are exported. Last year, more than $2 million was exported. This year's plan is $10 million.

The head of state stressed the need to further develop this industry.

"We have gained experience in this area, we have found a way to the foreign market. Now we need to expand this enterprise. As long as there is a human being, there will be a demand for such products. We just need to grow in quality and assortment, and be competitive," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Another important task is localization. Now in the enterprise, this figure has exceeded 50 percent. In the future, it is planned to implement 4 more projects worth 20 million dollars, producing vacuum cleaners, electric kettles, air coolers, and fans. As a result, an export opportunity of 30 million dollars per year will be created.

The enterprise employs 200 people. Dual education has been established with Karshi State Technical University.

According to the presidential press secretary, during the visit it is planned to inspect the activities of enterprises in many sectors, such as industry, medicine, tourism, energy, and construction work in neighborhoods. It is also planned to hold a meeting on the future tasks of the socio-economic development of the region.
