According to the Resolution No. 154 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 22, 2019, a procedure was approved for awarding talented graduates of general secondary education institutions with gold and silver medals.
According to this procedure:
A gold medal is awarded to graduates who have:
A certificate of completion of the 9th grade with honors,
Achieved excellent marks in all subjects for final exams, quarterly and yearly assessments in grades 10 and 11,
Demonstrated exemplary behavior and actively participated in community activities.
A silver medal is awarded to graduates who have:
A certificate of completion of the 9th grade with honors,
Achieved excellent yearly marks in all subjects in grades 10 and 11,
Shown exemplary behavior and were active in community life.
The school principal is responsible for ensuring the medals are awarded according to the established requirements.
