Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan sign "roadmap" on alliance treaty

Following the talks in Baku, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev adopted a resolution of the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.

A number of bilateral documents were exchanged at the head of state. Including:

- "Roadmap" for the implementation of the Treaty on Allied Relations for 2025-2029;

- Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Environmental Protection;

- Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Science, Professions and Higher Education;

- Industrial Cooperation Program for 2025-2026;

- Program to Increase Trade Turnover to $1 Billion by 2030;

- Action Plan for Further Development of Cooperation in Agriculture and Food Supply in 2025-2027;

- Action Plan for Cooperation in the Field of Social Protection in 2025-2027;

- Protocol on cooperation in the field of shipping and shipbuilding;

- Agreements on the establishment of fraternal relations between Tashkent region and the city of Sumgait, Navoi and Gabala.
