The “Atlas of Solutions” presented to the Head of State could mark a new stage not only in urban planning, but also in improving the overall quality of life. The future appearance of Tashkent and New Tashkent, its architectural style, roads and infrastructure now have a clear and systematic foundation.
It is known that the capital is considered the heart of the country’s development. The construction of New Tashkent, as its natural continuation, is being carried out at a rapid pace. In this regard, the master plan for Tashkent city, designed until 2045, was approved. This document covers all key areas such as construction, engineering networks, the transport system, and protected areas.
The “Atlas of Solutions”, developed as a logical continuation of this plan, is a practical guide to ensure order and consistency in construction. It consists of five separate books and contains clear standards and recommendations on street environment, building exteriors, public spaces, and landscaping regulations.
Notably, in the new approach, road construction is expected to cover not only the “red line” of the roadway but also the area from building to building on both sides of the street. This will eliminate neglected spaces along the roads and allow for harmonious and holistic landscaping. This is an innovative approach adopted from the experience of developed countries.
The atlas also takes into account national traditions and environmental standards. Based on the principles of sustainable development, this document is expected to have a positive impact not only on construction but also on the lifestyle of the population.
During the presentation, the Head of State emphasized the need to enhance the city’s aesthetics, purposefully organize public spaces, and raise the level of cultural life through the implementation of these solutions. It was noted that the road environment, building facades, and public infrastructure should become an integral part of people's lives.
The intended outcome is clear: Tashkent should become not only an economic center but also a humane, convenient, and modern metropolis. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
