The number of construction companies in Uzbekistan is increasing

In recent years, Uzbekistan has seen a significant rise in the volume of housing construction. According to data published by the State Statistics Committee, the number of companies operating in this sector has also been steadily growing each year.

In particular, as of August 1, 2025, a total of 29,232 companies are operating in the construction sector across the country. It was noted that since the beginning of the year, this figure has increased by 1,824.

It is reported that housing construction companies are distributed across the regions as follows:

Tashkent city – 7,078 companies;

Tashkent region – 2,640;

Fergana region – 2,177;

Samarkand region – 2,164;

Bukhara region – 2,079;

Kashkadarya region – 2,009;

Surkhandarya region – 1,903;

Andijan region – 1,690;

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1,506;

Khorezm region – 1,452;

Namangan region – 1,350;

Jizzakh region – 1,196;

Navoi region – 1,154;

Syrdarya region – 834.
