The process of admission to master's programs for the new academic year in Uzbekistan has been completed, and the results have been officially announced. This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Applications for admission to master's programs in state higher educational institutions (HEIs) for the 2025/26 academic year have been fully reviewed, and the results can be viewed in your personal account through the my.edu.uz electronic portal.
It was reported that online registration for master's degree programs in state higher education institutions in the republic began on July 7. In this process, students had the opportunity to register according to their wishes and capabilities. The admission quota was officially announced on July 25, which demonstrated the high level of interest and demand in the higher education system.
20,210 places are allocated for full-time education. Including, 9,922 places have been designated as state grants, of which 8,725 are in Uzbek and 1,197 in Russian. On a contract basis, 10,288 places have been allocated, of which 8,538 are in the Uzbek language and 1,750 in the Russian language. These figures show the wide range of opportunities for master's students and the possibility of studying in different languages.
1,319 places have been allocated for evening education. The composition of these places is as follows: Uzbek - 1,107, Russian - 138 and Karakalpak - 74. 420 places have been allocated for distance learning, 352 of which are in Uzbek, 53 in Russian, and 15 in Karakalpak. These indicators demonstrate the development of modern online and distance learning opportunities in the higher education system.
