The Agency for Innovative Development has announced a special competition for young scientists to promote innovative development and enhance scientific potential in Uzbekistan.
It is reported that the competition organized by the agency aims to send young scientists to foreign scientific and research institutions to further strengthen their qualifications and gain scientific experience. This competition is being conducted based on the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-455 dated December 25, 2024, and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 222 dated April 19, 2021.
Young scientists selected through the competition will participate in a 6-month scientific internship at the University of Texas, USA, during 2025. During this internship, they will have the opportunity to perform specific scientific tasks, gain new experience in the research process, and further develop their skills.
The process of recommending candidates is carried out by higher education institutions and research organizations. All documents are accepted only through the unified electronic platform "internship.ilmiy.uz." Documents sent to other addresses or by mail will not be officially considered.
The responsibility for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of information during the selection process, as well as guaranteeing the participation of recommended candidates in the internship, lies with the head of the sponsoring organization. This will contribute to the transparency and fairness of the competition.
