President: attention to education is the main goal

The President noted that in recent years, the number of schoolchildren receiving international certificates in foreign languages and various subjects has increased dramatically.

It was noted that if until 2016 only 2 thousand students had such a certificate, then last year only 150 thousand young people received an international certificate in foreign languages. It was announced that such certificates will now be officially recognized in school final exams.

In his speech, the President also addressed the exemplary and dedicated representatives of the younger generation.

- Our daughter from Kagan, Billura Ikramova, who, despite her young age, is an inspiration and example for hundreds of our boys and girls, is also participating in today's event. Having successfully graduated from the University of Reading in Great Britain, which is among the top 200, he rejected offers from large organizations and teaches English at a school in a remote village of Romitan," the President said.

It was also noted that Nodira Nabiyeva, a doctoral student at Oxford University, has created a new methodology for teaching English to students with hearing impairments, which is currently being used by professors from prestigious universities in Germany and the USA.

- My biggest dream is to expand the ranks of such talented and loyal young teachers, paying even greater attention to education. I am ready to create all the necessary conditions for this," the President emphasized.

Thus, the head of state once again demonstrated that he sees education as the main pillar of national development.
