In Uzbekistan, on September 18, different weather conditions are expected in various regions. According to “Uzhydromet”, in some areas short-term rains are possible, while in others the weather will remain dry.
In the city of Tashkent, the sky will be partly cloudy in the first half of the day. Rain is possible, and the wind is expected from the northeast at a speed of 3–8 meters per second. At certain times, the wind speed may reach up to 10–12 meters. The temperature at night will be 12–14 degrees, during the day around 23–25 degrees.
The residents of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region can expect relatively stable weather — some clouds may appear, but no precipitation is expected. At night, temperatures will be 8–13 degrees, during the day around 20–25 degrees.
In Bukhara and Navoi, short-term rain is not excluded at night and in the morning. The temperature will be 10–15 degrees at night, around 23–28 degrees during the day.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, short-term rains are also possible. Temperatures will be 10–15 degrees at night and 20–25 degrees during the day.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy, with some areas experiencing rain, but in general, the weather will remain dry. Daytime temperatures will be 25–30 degrees, nighttime 13–18 degrees.
In the Fergana Valley — Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions — short-term rains and strong winds are possible. In some places, wind speed may reach up to 18 meters per second, and dust storms are possible. Nighttime temperatures will be 10–15 degrees, daytime around 20–25 degrees.
In foothill and mountainous areas, cool weather is expected. From time to time, it will rain, and in high-altitude areas, it may turn into snow. The temperature during the day will be 10–15 degrees, at night around 5–10 degrees.
“Uzhydromet” had earlier reported that by midweek, air temperatures would significantly decrease, and short-term rains are possible. According to forecasts, starting from September 19, cold air masses will gradually retreat from the country.
Experts recommend that people take precautionary measures, especially in areas where wind strengthening is expected, and to remain cautious on the roads.
