A new law was adopted to protect green zones in Uzbekistan

Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis approved in the third reading a draft law protecting green zones from random concreting around houses, reports Kursiv website.

The legal documents prohibit random constructions on forest fund lands. In addition, data obtained from automatic monitoring stations will be required to be entered into a unified information database.

According to the deputies, the adoption of the law will help improve the ecological situation, ensure air cleanliness, and promote rational management of natural resources.
