According to the National Statistics Committee, during January-August 2025, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover increased significantly. In particular, during this period, the country's export volume reached 23 billion US dollars. This figure is reported to be 31.3 percent higher compared to the same months last year.
Official numbers show that Uzbekistan's activities in international markets are increasingly expanding and the level of cooperation with various countries is strengthening. The growth in export volume means the country's economic potential and demand for national products are increasing.
At the same time, the committee also announced the list of TOP-10 countries that held leading positions in Uzbekistan's exports. They are distributed as follows (in US dollars):
— Russia – 2.9 billion;
— China – 1.2 billion;
— Kazakhstan – 910.8 million;
— Afghanistan – 881.6 million;
— Turkey – 736.4 million;
— France – 618.6 million;
— United Arab Emirates – 493.6 million;
— Kyrgyz Republic – 371.3 million;
— Tajikistan – 338 million;
— Pakistan – 267.9 million.
Experts note that it is natural that major partners such as Russia and China are leading in export volume. At the same time, the fact that neighboring countries – Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – are also at the top demonstrates the strength of the region's economic ties.
