58.5 thousand new companies registered in Uzbekistan from January to August

From January to August of the current year, nearly 58.5 thousand new companies were registered in Uzbekistan, Kursiv Media reported. This figure is 1.1% higher compared to the same period last year.

The most companies were established in Tashkent city — almost 12.8 thousand. Next is Tashkent region — with 5.8 thousand companies. In third place is Khorezm region — with over 5.2 thousand organizations registered.

The lowest number of registrations was recorded in Sirdaryo region — where fewer than 1.5 thousand companies were established.
