According to the sample survey of households of the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, the share of women using the Internet in Uzbekistan was 93.1%.
During this period, the internet usage rate among men was even higher, reaching 95.3 percent. These figures reflect the gender distribution in internet usage and the level of interest in digital technologies.
Over the years, the proportion of women using the Internet has changed as follows:
2021 - 72.6%;
2022 - 81 percent;
2023 - 87.3%;
2024 - 92.4%;
2025 (January-August) - 93.1 percent.
At the same time, the proportion of men using the Internet varied over the years as follows:
2021 - 80.6%;
2022 - 86.9%;
2023 - 90.9%;
2024 - 94.2%;
2025 (January-August) - 95.3 percent.
These indicators highlight the year-on-year increase in internet usage and the growing interest in digital technologies among both women and men. Although the difference between men and women is small, the number of regular internet users in both sexes has increased significantly.
