President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, will pay a working visit to this country on October 6-7. This was reported by the presidential press service.
The head of state will participate in the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Gabala. This meeting will be held on the topic "Regional Peace and Security," and the agenda includes issues of further development and expansion of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the organization.
The summit is planned to discuss prospects for practical cooperation in the political, trade-economic, innovation, investment, energy, transport-communication, humanitarian, and other priority areas. The heads of delegations will also exchange views on current aspects of international politics.
Following the summit, it is planned to adopt a number of joint decisions and documents in order to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the member states of the organization.
