Reports circulating on social media about the district (city) stage of the Main Olympiad in mathematics have sparked widespread discussion.
The Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions has issued an official statement regarding this situation. It was reported that an investigation into the incident is currently underway. In order to ensure fairness, the district stage of the Olympiad will be repeated in each grade (9th, 10th, 11th grades).
According to the agency, the questions for the subject Olympiads were prepared by the Republican Center for Science Olympiads. They were published in the headquarters of the territorial administrations, but the questions were disseminated due to the irresponsible attitude of some responsible employees to their duties.
"Currently, the perpetrators are being identified and brought to justice within the framework of the law," the agency said in a statement.
He also emphasized that the center supports transparent and impartial processes at all stages. If someone offers the Olympiad questions or answers in exchange for money, or if there is a case of influence, they are asked to report this through a special Telegram bot or helpline.
The Agency notes that maintaining the prestige of the Olympiads and creating equal conditions for participants will remain the main goal.
