Experts note that solar activity has increased significantly today. This situation was predicted yesterday, October 14. According to scientists, today's activity level may reach its peak in the last few months.
According to laboratory dаta: "The graphs show a continuous increase in solar radiation. It quadrupled in all indicators within 24 hours and approached the M level. That is, the Sun produces powerful X-rays even without an explosion."
This situation was recorded as the second most intense activity in the last four months. At the same time, scientists note that for the first time since the summer of this year, a very powerful X-level flare may be observed.
It should be noted that at the end of September, scientists recorded the strongest magnetic storm in the last three months. According to experts, the last storm of this magnitude was observed on June 1.
Currently, the increase in solar activity increases the likelihood of impacting Earth's magnetic field and the emergence of small-scale magnetic storms in the coming days. Scientists emphasize that these processes are part of the natural cycle and call on operators of satellites and communication systems to take precautions.
