The first "Halal" center with international accreditation opened in Uzbekistan

The "Halal" certification center, which has passed international accreditation for the first time in Uzbekistan, has begun its activities. This was reported by the press service of the Scientific Testing and Quality Control Center of Uzbekistan.

The newly established institution operates under this center and is accredited by Turkey's prestigious Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) as a body that fully meets international standards.

This result is an important achievement for the country's industry and export potential. Because now local manufacturers will have the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognized "halal" certificate when entering foreign markets, especially Islamic countries' markets. This, in turn, increases confidence in Uzbek products and expands export volumes.

According to experts, the "halal" certificate is important not only for food products but also for cosmetics, medicine, and services. This accreditation will allow local enterprises to increase competitiveness in international markets, strengthen product quality, and open new export routes.

According to the data, the global "halal" market volume exceeds 2 trillion US dollars, while the "halal" tourism sector is close to 400 billion dollars. Therefore, Uzbekistan's active participation in this system creates great opportunities for the national economy.

Through the operation of the country's first international "Halal" center, manufacturers will now have the opportunity to export their products not only locally but also to markets such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Officials emphasized that this center will not only issue certificates but also provide training courses for entrepreneurs, consulting services, and scientific and practical assistance in quality control.

Thus, the opening of the first center in Uzbekistan, operating on the basis of the international "Halal" standard, will raise the culture of production in the country to a new level, further strengthening confidence in the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand in the international market.
