Indicators of domestic car production in Uzbekistan have slightly decreased. According to the Statistics Agency, more than 116 thousand Cobalt cars were produced in the country in January-September of this year. This is slightly less than in the same period last year - slightly less than 117 thousand units.
Damas production also decreased - from more than 70 thousand cars in the first nine months of 2024, this year this figure was 67.8 thousand cars.
At the same time, UzAuto Motors increased production of the Tracker model - from 31 thousand to 34 thousand. However, the number of Onix decreased slightly: from 24.7 thousand to 22.5 thousand.
Other companies, on the contrary, are actively increasing production. For example, KIA increased the volume of cars from 14 thousand to 19.6 thousand. The Chinese brand BYD has achieved a sharp increase - from 681 units last year to 13.7 thousand units this year. Chery and Haval also significantly increased their share.
UzAuto Motors is preparing to present updated versions of the Cobalt and Damas models. The new Damas Move and Damas Max models are distinguished by larger size, carrying capacity, and comfort.
The updated Cobalt will be equipped with 12 new features, the ABS system has been improved, and the control unit has been modernized. At the same time, new versions of "Cobalt Style MSM" and "Cobalt Midnight MSM" will also be launched.
According to experts, these innovations will be an important step in maintaining competitiveness in the domestic auto industry and meeting the demand of the domestic market.
