Cotton growers have exceeded their plan - the "golden autumn" is over

The cotton harvest for this year has been completed in Uzbekistan. As of October 25, the country’s cotton growers have delivered more than 3 million 765 thousand tons of cotton, reported representatives of the agricultural system.

Thus, the contractual plan set for the current year has been fulfilled by 100 percent.

According to experts, this year’s season was unique in terms of climate — during the harvesting period, almost no rain fell across the country. This made it possible to carry out harvesting work without interruption.

Farmers and machine operators worked selflessly in the cotton fields. Efficient use of agricultural machinery and timely implementation of agrotechnical measures led to high results.

According to officials, this year’s harvest season can rightfully be called a “golden autumn.” This achievement will remain in history as a source of pride for hardworking farmers and mechanizers.
