The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed decisions on the dismissal of two high-ranking officials within the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). This was reported by the press secretary of the head of state.
The dismissed officials are: • Bekmurod Abdullayev has been released from the positions of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Public Security Directorate. • Rustam Tursunov has been dismissed from the position of Head of the Department for the Execution of Punishments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
