Uzbekistan Airways HY9657/9658 flights operating on the Tashkent-Ufa route were redirected to Kazan as an alternate airport. This was due to temporary restrictions imposed at Ufa Airport.
According to the airline, updated information regarding the flight schedule will be provided later. This situation occurred simultaneously with a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense about two Ukrainian drones being shot down in Bashkortostan on the night of November 4.
Afterwards, Ufa Airport resumed normal operations once the restrictions were lifted.
