Tokayev supported regional solidarity and strategic partnership

The seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held in Tashkent, was noted as one of the most important political events in the region. Within the framework of the conference, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a speech and expressed his views on a number of pressing issues.

President Tokayev emphasized his full agreement with the issues raised by the head of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In his opinion, in today's tense geopolitical conditions, an extremely important historical moment has formed for the countries of Central Asia - the region can become one of the largest transport and logistics centers in Eurasia.

- Against the backdrop of changes in world politics, our countries are facing unique opportunities. We must not miss this opportunity," Tokayev said.

High appraisal of the UNESCO Forum in Samarkand

During his speech, the head of Kazakhstan also highlighted the high-level UNESCO General Conference held in Samarkand and congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the successful organization of this prestigious event.

"This was a very important forum of great political and scientific significance," he said.

Center of Islamic Civilization - a common scientific space

Tokayev praised the recently opened Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. According to him, this project is of great importance not only from a religious-educational, but also from a scientific, cultural, and tourist point of view.

- As the President of Uzbekistan noted, the Center of Islamic Civilization can become a single platform for joint scientific research and cooperation in the region. I fully support this idea, - said the head of Kazakhstan.

Readiness to deepen integration processes

President Tokayev also approved the institutional proposals put forward by Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to him, the countries of the region can thoroughly discuss these proposals in a working order and subsequently approve them on a legislative or contractual basis.

- There are all possibilities for further strengthening our format. "If we work together, the result won't take long," he said.

Gratitude to President Mirziyoyev

At the end of his speech, Tokayev expressed special gratitude to the leader of Uzbekistan for the high-level organization of the summit:

"Shavkat Miromonovich, I would like to once again express my deep gratitude for the conditions created for the summit and the warm hospitality," the President of Kazakhstan emphasized.

Such meetings are of great importance for the further strengthening of integration, political dialogue, and strategic partnership in Central Asia. The Tashkent Summit marked a new stage in this process.
