It was reported how many artisans are working in Uzbekistan. According to the National Statistics Committee, as of October 1, 2025, 22,100 artisans were registered across the country. This figure shows the growing interest in national crafts and the importance of handicrafts in the domestic market.

The city of Tashkent is the leader with 2,964 artisans.
Fergana region - 2,743.
Samarkand - 2,179.
Andijan - 2,058.
Namangan - 2,024.
Khorezm - 1,982.
Tashkent region - 1,731.
Bukhara - 1,434.
Kashkadarya - 1,427.
Karakalpakstan - 981.
Jizzakh - 923.
Surkhandarya - 786.
Syrdarya - 449.
Navoi - 419 units.
The general picture shows that crafts are rapidly developing not only as a traditional value, but also as an economic opportunity.
