Uzbeks who found themselves in a difficult situation in Turkey were returned to their homeland. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and the representative office of the Migration Agency provided the necessary assistance to our compatriot and his 12-year-old daughter, who found themselves in a difficult situation, and helped them return to Uzbekistan. It was reported that a woman who was in Turkey for the purpose of labor migration lost her ability to work due to a serious illness and appealed to the diplomatic mission.
According to the information, our compatriot had a broken leg, and his surgical operation and prosthetic installation process were successfully carried out under the supervision of doctors. As the family's financial situation worsened due to prolonged treatment and incapacity for work, the consulate provided additional assistance. At the same time, it was established that her daughter also needs special care, and this issue was also considered separately.
At the initiative of the Consulate General, together with the Society of Culture, Solidarity and Cooperation of Uzbekistan, the representative office of Uzbekistan Airways in Turkey, and diaspora activists, the mother and daughter were returned to their homeland. Currently, their treatment and rehabilitation processes are continuing through the National Agency for Social Protection, the Committee for Family and Women, and local authorities.
