
The historic summit of the countries of Central Asia concluded in Tashkent. At the Consultative Meeting held today under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the participation of the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, the heads of state decided to join the Republic of Azerbaijan as a full participant in this format.


Speaking at the meeting, the leaders of the participating countries put forward important initiatives to further strengthen regional partnership. Following the meeting, multilateral documents were signed.


On November 15, within the framework of the summit, the head of our state held meetings with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. On the same day, the main events of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to our country took place.


Following the events of the event program, at the Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the head of our state warmly saw off the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. They departed for their homeland.
Today, November 17, the main events of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to our country will take place.
