Forecasts for December in Uzbekistan have been published. According to Uzhydromet, temperatures in December 2025 are expected to be 1-1.5 degrees above normal. In December of this year, slightly warm and dry weather will persist at the beginning of winter, and rain is possible in some places.
From December 1st to 3rd, daytime temperatures across the republic are expected to be around +12...+15 degrees Celsius, and at night around -3...+2 degrees Celsius. Rain is possible on December 4-5, and the temperature will drop to +3...+6 degrees. On December 6-7, the air will warm up again, reaching +12...+15 degrees.
Throughout December, the temperature will fluctuate between -2...-7°C at night and +10...+15°C during the day. On certain days of this month, precipitation, even in the form of snow, is possible.
According to meteorological analyses of December in previous years, it is known that the average December was 4-6 degrees colder than the last month of autumn. December 1984 is considered the coldest December, when the temperature was 7-12 degrees below normal. In 2021, December was the warmest month, with temperatures 2-4 degrees above normal.
In some regions of Uzbekistan, precipitation is expected to increase throughout December, and the number of rainy days is also expected to increase. In the northern and desert regions of the republic, there will be little precipitation, but in the Fergana Valley and mountainous areas, the amount of precipitation is likely to be high. Snowfall and snow cover persist in some places, the last such precipitation was observed in 2002.
As can be seen from these forecasts, December in Uzbekistan is often determined by increased precipitation and temperature fluctuations.
