In Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev began the main event dedicated to the Agriculture Workers’ Day with a direct dialogue with farmers, agricultural workers, and rural laborers. The meeting was filled with an enthusiastic atmosphere as the hard work of thousands of agricultural sector representatives, who sustain the country by filling its tables with food, was notably recognized.

The president began his speech by expressing sincere respect for all gardeners, livestock breeders, water management specialists, agronomists, and machine operators who work tirelessly throughout the year to create prosperity and meet the people’s needs.

"Your labor is of immeasurable importance not only for advancing agriculture but also for boosting the economy, improving the quality of life, and ensuring food security. Your contributions deserve endless praise and recognition," the president emphasized.

During the meeting, it was noted that this year was exceptionally productive and successful for the country’s agricultural sector. Achievements in the sector, which employs over 3.5 million people, were highlighted, alongside the progress of reforms implemented in farming operations and the broader agrarian field, which have yielded tangible results.

The dedication and unwavering efforts of farmers and laborers, as well as their resilience, determination, and commitment to their work, were once again acknowledged as key factors in securing food stability in the country. The president thanked the agricultural sector workers and affirmed that the policy of supporting them will continue consistently in the coming years.
