Uzhydromet has published a weather forecast for December 22-25. According to the forecast, at the beginning of the week, the weather will be mostly changeable throughout the republic, with snow, fog, and black ice possible in some areas.
No precipitation is expected in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, but fog is possible in some areas. East wind 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 0-5°C above zero, in the daytime 0-5°C above zero.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, light snow is possible in some areas on December 22, and mainly dry weather will persist in the following days. Black ice can be observed on the roads.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions, snow is also possible in some places on December 22. No precipitation is expected in the coming days, fog and black ice may persist.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, snow may fall on the first day of the week, and then the weather will clear up. No precipitation is forecasted in the regions of the Fergana Valley, but fog is possible.
In mountainous areas, intermittent snow is expected on December 22-23, with an avalanche risk in some areas. Specialists urge drivers to be careful on the roads.
