An earthquake occurred for the second time within one day on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring.

According to the information, on January 17 at 18:11, an earthquake was recorded in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter of the tremor was located approximately 215 km southeast of Tashkent. The magnitude was 3.3, and the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 km.

In Uzbekistan, the intensity of the earthquake was felt at 2 points in the Sokh district (22 km) and 2 points in the Rishtan district (28 km).
