Uzbekistan's startup ecosystem grew by 132 percent

Uzbekistan's startup and venture ecosystem continues to develop rapidly. According to the IT Park Ventures fund, the country's startup environment recorded a growth of over 132 percent last year. As a result, Uzbekistan entered the top 100 of the StartupBlink Global Startup Ecosystem Index for the first time. Reports the-tech.kz.

The volume of venture deals has also increased significantly. While this figure was 69.5 million dollars in 2024, investment volume exceeded 329 million dollars in 2025. The IT Park Ventures fund started with a capital of 10 million dollars and selected over 500 projects within a year.

Today, the fund's portfolio includes about 70 startups operating in 15 countries. The main part of investments, 25 percent, is directed to the FinTech sector. EdTech, HR Tech, SaaS, and artificial intelligence directions also remain in the focus of investors. Projects were financed in collaboration with international partners such as 500 Global and Plug and Play.

In 2026, the fund aims to further expand its activities. Next year, priority will be given to artificial intelligence, GameDev, and other technological directions. It is also planned to establish new venture funds with international partners and support startups in entering the global market.
