From May 2, high-speed train service begins on Tashkent—Khiva route

On March 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with public representatives, traveled on the new “Hyundai Rotem” high-speed train brought to Uzbekistan from Samarkand to Narpay district.

The high-speed train service on this route is launched to further develop the country’s railway infrastructure and improve convenience for passengers. This service will significantly reduce travel time between Tashkent and Khiva, providing passengers with a modern, safe, and comfortable transport option.
