Looking at the statistical data, we can see that the number of mobile devices in Uzbek households has increased nearly threefold over the last fifteen years. The population's need for communication tools is steadily rising year by year:
- In 2010: there were an average of 145 phones per 100 households.
- In 2015: the indicator increased significantly, reaching 234.
- In 2020: the number of devices per hundred families reached 287.
- In 2025: according to the current situation, this figure has risen to a record level of 359.
This means that currently, there are an average of 3-4 mobile phones in every household in our country. This indicates how much the population's access to digital services has expanded.
Import indicators are also high
The high demand for mobile devices is also reflected in import volumes. As previously reported, in the first two months (January-February) of 2026 alone, a total of 909,951 phones were imported to Uzbekistan from 13 countries. This confirms that supply and purchasing power in the market remain high.
