Friday: The peak of the heat
Today, Friday, a true summer breeze is felt across the country. Air temperatures will rise to +34…+37 degrees, and in the southern regions, the thermometer may reach +39 degrees. In the northwestern regions of the republic, the air will be slightly cooler, expected to be around +28…+33 degrees.
May 9 — Changes on the Day of Remembrance and Honor
Although clear weather will persist in most parts of the country on Saturday, the weather will begin to change in some regions.
Where will it rain? Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in the Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions in the second half of the day.
Temperature: The heat will recede slightly, and the daytime temperature will drop to +28…+33 degrees.
Attention, wind! On this day, wind speeds in some places may increase to 23–25 meters per second and dust storms may occur.
Sunday: Heavy rain and real coolness
On May 10, the weather will change drastically. Rain is expected in almost all regions of the republic, with heavy downpours and thunderstorms in some places.
Temperature: The daytime air temperature will drop significantly, reaching only +20…+25 degrees. This is a great opportunity for those tired of the heat.
Monday: Rainy morning and return of warmth
On May 11, rain will continue in Tashkent and the Fergana Valley regions. In Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya, precipitation is possible only at night and in the morning. In other regions, the weather will clear up, and the temperature will rise again by 2–3 degrees.
Danger in mountainous areas
We ask our compatriots planning to vacation in mountainous and foothill areas to be careful. Due to periodic heavy rains in these areas, there is a risk of flash floods.
What will the weather be like in the capital?
May 8–9: No precipitation is expected. On Friday it will be +34…+36, and on Saturday it will be +30…+32 degrees. Dust storms are possible on Saturday.
May 10: Intermittent rain throughout the day, thunderstorms are possible. The temperature will be only +20…+22 degrees, with cool weather prevailing.
May 11: Short-term rain is expected, the temperature will be around +23…+25 degrees.
