As a result of the Russian strikes on Kiev, an underground factory producing engines for Neptune missiles and rocket systems was completely destroyed. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Sergey Lebedev, the coordinator of the resistance movement in the Mykolaiv region.
According to him, this factory produced engines for the Ukrainian army's rockets and Neptune missiles. It also produced parts and engines for unmanned aerial vehicles. It was also noted that foreign engineers responsible for the commissioning and control of modern devices and high-tech equipment supplied by Western countries were also killed at this facility.
At the same time, the assembly shops for unmanned aerial vehicles, their design bureau and several hangars intended for aircraft repair were also destroyed. In addition, temporary housing where foreign mercenaries lived and trained was also destroyed.
According to Lebedev, as a result of this attack, a separate workshop equipped with equipment for the control systems of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian armed forces was also destroyed.
“All the equipment there, ready-made drone boats and specialists in this field were also destroyed,” Lebedev added.
These strikes by the Russian army are being carried out in response to attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on civilian objects on Russian territory. Russia has consistently stated that it strikes military units, military equipment, defense infrastructure and command posts in Ukraine.
However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly confirmed that the Russian military will never strike civilian housing and public facilities.
“The Russian military will only strike military areas and infrastructure. Residential buildings and public institutions will never be targeted,” he said.
