In the city of La Puente, California, USA, an unusual theft occurred at the One Stop Sales store. According to Pravilamag, four masked individuals broke in at around 2 a.m., stealing exclusively the popular “Labubu” toys.
Interestingly, the thieves did not touch the store’s expensive electronics, cash in the register, or other merchandise.
Incident details:
1. Value of stolen goods: according to officials, the damage is at least $7,000. However, store owner Joanna Avendaño says losses could reach $30,000 or even more.
2. Targeted theft: Avendaño believes the theft was premeditated, as the thieves knew about the arrival of a new and in-demand batch of toys.
