Russia Provided Israel with Intelligence on Iran

Said Mohammad Sadr, a member of Iran’s Political Decision-Making Council, provided detailed information about the strategic cooperation between Russia and Iran, as well as the intelligence information that Russia handed over to Israel. According to him, the alliance with Russia does not actually align with strategic interests, and some of Moscow's actions in this regard were quite complex.

Sadr noted that Moscow did not directly intervene in Iran’s attack on Israel, but one of Russia’s actions was providing Israel with strategic intelligence about the location of Iran's air defense systems. This, in turn, is linked to support for actions against Iran, highlighting the inconsistency of the alliance between the countries.

Moreover, Sadr also focused on Moscow’s relations with other countries. He gave the example of Turkey, which is a NATO member, and Russia’s sale of the S-400 system to Turkey. This situation, in turn, points to Russia’s policy against NATO and the lack of clarity regarding strategic cooperation.

At the same time, Sadr emphasized the importance of maintaining relations between Russia and Iran, but warned about the need to be cautious regarding Moscow. Therefore, alliances and relationships on the international stage, issues with other countries, and their implemented policies always contribute to defining the irreversible aspects of international relations.
