Dubai has once again attracted global attention. This time, the city boasts not its modern architecture, but the tallest hotel in the world. Starting from November, the Ciel Dubai Marina hotel in the Dubai Marina district is expected to open, becoming a new symbol of tourism not only for the Emirates but also worldwide. This was reported by the “Dubai Media Office.”
A new height record
The building, standing at 377 meters tall, is located in the prestigious Dubai Marina district. Thus, it will surpass the current record holder — the 356-meter-high Gevora Hotel — and become the new leader. The hotel is expected to drastically transform the city’s modern skyline.
The project was designed by the renowned NORR Group studio, while construction was carried out by The First Group with the participation of the major contractor China Railway 18th Bureau Group. Management will be handled by The First Group Hospitality, and the hotel will operate under the Vignette Collection brand of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
Unique features of the hotel
Ciel Dubai Marina stands out not only for its height but also for its modern amenities:

An 82-story building with 1004 rooms and apartments;

A restaurant located at a height of 353 meters;

A pool at 306 meters, expected to be recognized as the highest in the world;

Candidate for new records
In addition to the title of “world’s tallest hotel,” Ciel Dubai Marina is also in line to achieve two more world records: the highest pool and the highest club. Their official recognition is expected after the hotel’s opening.
