The United Kingdom has officially recognized the State of Palestine.
This was announced by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a video message published on his social media page.
In his statement, Starmer said:
“Today the United Kingdom officially recognizes the State of Palestine. This step will restore hope for peace and a two-state solution for Palestinians and Israelis.”
Thus, London’s decision is expected to further increase international attention to the Palestinian issue.
