US President Donald Trump made important statements at the session of the United Nations General Assembly. He noted that, although the UN has great opportunities in solving problems on the international stage, these opportunities are not yet fully utilized.
Trump criticized China and India as countries providing economic assistance to Russia regarding Ukraine. According to him, if Russia does not stop the war in Ukraine, the US may impose serious customs restrictions on Russia under its own laws.
The American leader, speaking from the UN platform, stated that "America is ready to extend its hand to those who are ready to build a safe and stable world." Trump also stressed that the armed clashes in the Gaza Strip should be stopped immediately, and the hostages should be released. He also stated that he is consistently working towards resolving the Ukrainian conflict, including a good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, Trump called on the world community to completely abandon the development of biological weapons. Addressing the problems of migration in Europe, he sharply stated that his countries are "going to hell."
Trump's words demonstrate the need for a more firm and precise position in addressing international issues.
