Kazakhstan and Telegram signed a new agreement on artificial intelligence

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the founder of the Telegram messenger Pavel Durov within the framework of the Digital Bridge 2025 international forum.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the fields of education, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity were discussed. The President highly appreciated the activity of the messenger in the development of the country's digital agenda.

Pavel Durov's company officially became a member of Astana Hub, opened its office in Kazakhstan, and launched artificial intelligence laboratories at the AIem.Ai center. The contribution of this center to the development of new technologies and science was especially noted.

Durov, in turn, presented the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence to the head of Kazakhstan.
