Thirteen people were arrested in Georgia on charges of attempting a coup d'état, the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. According to the information, this situation occurred on October 4 during local elections.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Darakhvelidze. According to him, "15 people involved in the unrest on October 4 have been identified, 13 of whom have been detained," he said at a briefing.
Currently, investigations are ongoing regarding attempts to overthrow the government, participation in group violence, and attempts to change the constitutional order.
