Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has approved a new operation plan by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) against Russia. He announced this on his Telegram channel.
“I have approved several SBU plans — they will serve as our asymmetric response to Russia’s military actions,” Zelensky wrote after discussing the results of long-range strikes with SBU chief Vasyl Maliuk.
The head of state also noted that he had listened to a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, and emphasized that Russia had suffered very heavy losses.
“Our focus is now on the Dobropillia operation — this is our counteroffensive. Defense continues in other directions as well. I want to thank every soldier fighting for the city of Kupiansk and its surroundings. The Novopavlivske direction is also difficult — active defensive actions are underway there, and some positive results have been achieved,” he said.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is rapidly developing long-range drones and missiles, and their effectiveness is steadily increasing.
