Pakistan warned Afghanistan: “Don’t play with fire!”

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the armed attacks carried out from Afghan territory against the country’s peaceful civilians. According to him, the firing by “Taliban” forces into Pakistan’s territory is a clear violation of international law.

“These actions are against international norms. Afghanistan is playing with fire. If the situation continues, we will give an appropriate response to this aggression,” Naqvi said.

According to the minister, Pakistan never succumbs to provocations, but is ready to take decisive measures against any threat. He called on Afghanistan’s leadership not to damage neighborly relations and to ensure border security.

“As in the case with India, Afghanistan will also receive an appropriate response if it continues the pressure,” the minister added.

In recent weeks, tension has been increasing along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Disputes between the two countries over border security, the flow of migrants, and armed clashes have intensified.
