USA's visa opportunities decreased, dropping out of the top 10

According to the Passport Index published by Henley & Partners, the US passport dropped out of the list of the world's top 10 passports in 2025. In the new ranking, the American passport took 12th place and shares this position with the Malaysian passport.

However, when analyzing real indicators, considering that several countries have the same visa opportunities, the US passport is actually on line 38 of the list. This indicates a sharp decline in the prestige of the US passport.

For information, American citizens have the opportunity to enter 180 countries without a visa or with a visa. For comparison, holders of Singapore passports, recognized as the strongest in the world, can freely enter 193 countries.
