According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of famous boxer Dmitry Bivol, has been officially placed on the wanted list. This was reported by Tengrinews, citing the ministry's press service.
According to official reports, a criminal case has been initiated on this fact, but the exact incident has not yet been disclosed. It was reported that a pre-investigation check is being conducted.
Earlier, a video circulated on social media in which Ekaterina Bivol spoke insultingly about representatives of different nationalities and ethnic groups. This situation caused great discontent among the public. Soon after, a warrant for his arrest was issued in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, he is accused under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan - "incitement of racial, national or interregional hatred." The penalty under this article is imprisonment for a term of 5 to 7 years.
The public and users strongly condemned his behavior, noting that such statements contradict the principles of tolerance and humanism.
Previously, Ekaterina Bivol had also expressed harsh opinions about her ex-husband's family, even insultingly referring to the boxer's mother.
For information, Russian professional boxer Dmitry Bivol, born in Kyrgyzstan, is the WBA lightweight champion. He and Ekaterina have been in a relationship since 2007 and officially married in 2014. The couple had a son, but in June 2023, the 16-year marriage was officially annulled.
Since then, the conflict between them has continued on social networks and in courts, attracting public attention with mutual accusations. While Ekaterina Bivol accused her husband of infidelity and financial fraud, Dmitry called his actions "contrary to moral norms."
